“Triggered by” avatar often confused as “Committed by”

We often misunderstand that to mean that the person behind that avatar (Person A) broke the build but that’s not necessarily true though. For instance, when another person (Person B) merged a PR that Person A created, Person B’s avatar shows up. In another case, when Person B simply clicks Trigger Pipeline, it’s Person B’s avatar that shows up.
Maybe it would be clearer if the “Triggered By” avatar is in its own, properly labeled, column. It might also help to display the avatar of the author in the “Branch/Commit” column.

This gets worse when an org uses GitHub merge queues, because the committer is always the github-merge-queue[bot].
On a small (mobile) screen, you can still see the name of the author in the build, but on a larger screen, you have to mouse over the Checkout Source column to see the commit author (but the tooltip says "Committed by")
