Quick update - we are aiming for a closed preview this fall and a full release in the winter.

FYI we open sourced a free Virtualization solution for Apple Silicon which is specifically designed to be integrated with CIs and other automations. Will be great to collaborate on that so you don't need to reinvent the wheel so to speak. 😅 https://github.com/cirruslabs/tart

We are actively working on M1 support and expect it to be delivered by the end of the year. Due to significant changes introduced in Apple's new M1 processor architecture, our team has been exploring the best ways to provide this support for our customers. Once we have a more specific timeline, I will provide an update here and add it to our public roadmap (https://circleci.com/product-roadmap/).

Any updates on the timeline for this? I contribute to an open source project that builds using the GraalVM native-image tool that cannot cross-compile. The GraalVM folks are very close to a stable macOS arm64 release, and we currently build all of our releases on CircleCI. So we will need this to build macOS arm64 binaries if we're going to stay on CircleCI. Thank you!
