We are currently configuring a continuous deployment pipeline on CircleCI Cloud for our automated retail and industrial software solutions at Scales4U (https://scales4u.co.za/). Since our calibration systems interface directly with physical weighing equipment and IoT sensors, we face challenges running simulated hardware loop tests within the standard cloud runners.

It would be extremely helpful if CircleCI could provide specialized testing environments or pre-configured compliance blocks for embedded software and industrial hardware verification. Are there any upcoming features or documentation on how to optimize pipelines for hardware-integrated retail web apps?
