Hi folks, I appreciate the patience on this item. I will communicate a timeline on this very shortly, development work will be commencing soon. In the meantime, if you'd like to be be one of the first users to try out an ARM resource class on our Docker executor, please sign up for our waitlist: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1qObn954-F99bT7fdZzeu_vq_VAKuPEGoKfgnqWw5L6A/edit

I need this functionality, please prioritize this feature. Thank you!

Would be great if we had this, especially if we had the ability to spin up a
remote docker
for ARM64. Using buildx w/ QEMU is unbearably slow for large projects.Roger Steve Ruiz
This example using machine images to build multi-arch Docker files seems to be working. https://kesdev.com/building-multi-architecture-docker-images-on-circleci/

Hi folks, unfortunately I still do not have an update on a timeline for support of ARM on our Docker executor. It is still something we want to provide our users and on our public roadmap: https://circleci.com/product-roadmap/
I did want to share that we have launched a self-hosted runner called "container runner" that can be installed on an ARM Kubernetes cluster. It supports jobs that use the Docker executor. Details here: https://circleci.com/docs/container-runner
