The new Slack integration lets users approve or cancel a workflow awaiting approval directly from the Slack notification. When they do, the notification updates to show who actioned it and what they did.

That update doesn’t happen when the workflow is approved or canceled from the CircleCI web app or the API. The notification stays in its pending state, so teammates reading the channel can’t tell whether the workflow still needs action.

Request: Update the Slack notification whenever the approval is resolved, regardless of where the action is taken (Slack, web app, or API), using the same “approved/canceled by [user]” state shown today for Slack actions.
