With scheduled workflows I can set a schedule to build my project every 1st and 15th of the month, but now this is imposible. Please set an option to select day of month before end of support of scheduled workflows.

Monthly schedules has been released. You can now schedule repeating monthly schedule with specific days of the month.

In our scenario, we cannot switch to Scheduled Pipelines due to existing monthly tasks, such as monthly API key rotation and monthly billing reports.
