The blue rotating circle animations eat up 70-80% of my CPU.

I think that's a lot.

Consider adding a CPU friendly flag, disabling the animations, replacing the fancy moving thing with a static blue play triangle in a circle.

This would radically reduce the webapp's cpu heavyness.

Slack made this setting optional, disabling ALL animations, and it's awesome!
